So for all you Stoopid fans out there yesterday marked the release of the crew’s latest album, Chronchitis. Of course I picked up the album and have listend to it three times, I work two jobs and only get to listen to it in the car but I have a feeling it going to stay in heavy rotation for a while. For me this album did not disappoint.

In a continuation of the styles we heard on Closer to the Sun, Slightly Stoopid runs the gamet of genres with this new album. From a bluesy surf sound on Ocean to a dubtastic reggae sound on 2 AM. Its a lot more mellow than previous albums, but not to a fault. I enjoy this album a great deal, perhaps more so than Closer to the Sun. For me Closer to the Sun had some great tracks but they it was not as strong as this album.
